Enjoy these annual holiday markets throughout Northwest DC to shop local and take advantage of all the community has to offer.

Janney Winter Market

When: Saturday, December 7th from 12-4 pm

Kick off the holiday season on December 7th at the Tenleytown WinterFest located at Janney School. The Janney Winter Market features close to 100 vendors for the optimal holiday shopping experience. The event also boasts historical walking tours, live music, a scavenger hunt, and festive Christmas carolers. Expect to see local favorites like District Spice, Republic Restoratives, MCC Gems, and Jungle & Loom at this year’s event.

Van Ness Holiday Pop Up Shop

When: Friday Dec 13-Sunday Dec 15th

Join the Van Ness community for the Fourth annual Holiday PopUp Shop and Market. This year, more than twenty local artisans, designers, and makers will be onsite selling their fun, festive wares. The event kicks off with a preview on Friday evening and then the fun continues through the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy live music, made to order crepes, hot chocolate and photos with Santa. And don’t miss the Gingerbread decorating for the kids!

Cleveland Park Holiday Market

When: Saturdays through December 21st from 9 am – 1 pm

Just down the road, our neighbors in Cleveland Park will be hosting a holiday market of their own. Join other members of the community every Saturday in December through the 21st for shopping and festive fun. This event is hosted by The Cleveland Park Business Association and is offered in conjunction with the already established Farmers Market, so you can pick up your weekly produce as well as presents for the whole family just outside the Uptown Theater. 

The holidays are a magical time in DC and this year is no exception. With twinkling lights and festive garland adorning homes and public spaces, it’s easy to get in the holiday spirit.
